Environmental Issues
Many people are concerned about our world. We can provide eco friendly funerals. Cardboard coffins are not accepted at Portchester Crematorium, but can be used for local burials. All coffins now being cremated must comply with the '1990 Federation of British Cremation Authorities' and 'The European Law'. This ruling does not allow the use of the deceased's own clothing.
In Hampshire we have a 'Natural Burial Site' this is located near to 'Old Winchester Hill' right on the edge of the 'Southdowns' in a beautiful woodland area. We can arrange burial at the woodland burial ground, including eco friendly coffins. (bamboo, wicker or solid wood coffins, i.e. pine or oak) Email chrismcmillan100@hotmail.com
