Cogy

I was born at a young age, in Fareham. When I left college I trained as a Funeral Director, and then went into the family business, to work with my Father. I am the fifth generation of M. Coghlan Ltd Funeral Directors Fareham. My daughter is now in the business being the sixth generation of the firm, which started in 1861

I married Pippa in 1981 and we have 3 children, Sophie, Dan & Ben and two grandchildren.

I am now semi retired, but still attend must funeral bearing or driving.

When not working, I volunteer helping with the “Duke of Edinburgh’s Award” and Scouts, mainly taking teams up the mountains on their Gold Expeditions.

When not up the mountains I help with the Church youth, having become a Christian in my teens I feel a passion to help young people learn about Jesus. I also play the keyboard or organ at a local Church.

I love walking, Cycling, wild swimming and being with Pippa and the grandchildren
